The optical transparency of conventional glass permitting the free uninterrupted
passage of light, poses a serious protection problem to any security concept
because it also permits a relatively free access to a building be it in the
event of incursion, riots, looting and terrorist attack.
Barred windows, shutters and similar devices are a) optical restrictions b) expensive.
The aletrnative at hand is a window Protection Film that prevents glass fragmentation caused by a bomb blast from turning into shrapnels that cause grievious bodyly harm or death, that stops intrusion, Molotov cocktails or similar.

Maximum protection against bomb blast- or wind load conditions is a anchoring
system which prevents that the entire pane of filmed glass fails and falls out
of the frame.
Maximum window protection
It improves and extends the principle of edge battening by incorprating a specific movement zone which allows the film to move under applied load without putting excessive force onto the fittings and frame.
Complete UV-absorption
This movement zone absorbs a high degree of the impact energy before loads are distributed to the window frame and thus significantly improves the performance of security window film against blast pressure compared to traditional daylight film applications.
